Lab Assistant IV

Labcorp seeks a Lab Assistant IV for its Portland laboratory to receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing. The role includes equipment maintenance, data entry, and administrative tasks on a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
- Perform data entry and scanning of specimen and patient information
- Verify lab equipment function and conduct minor instrumentation maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen issues and maintain clean, safe work environment
- Complete administrative logs and replenish test bench supplies as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and fast-paced environment capability
- Extended sitting or standing tolerance and shift flexibility
