Sales Manager

You'll lead Luma's regional sales - owning strategic accounts yourself while hiring and coaching a team of Account Executives - and place our creative AI technology with the world's leading brands and agencies. This is a player-coach role.

You'll both close deals and build the team, refining the regional playbook in a high-velocity, ambiguous environment rather than following a set one. It fits a deeply networked sales leader who still wants to sell, not just manage. If you want a pure management seat or an established playbook, this isn't it.

What You'll Own

• Own the full sales cycle for strategic accounts - prospecting, demos, and closing high-impact deals with leading brands and agencies.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a team of 5+ Account Executives with day-to-day coaching and a culture of excellence.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of advertiser and agency accounts.
• Translate Luma's creative AI tools into clear value and ROI for marketing, brand, and creative teams.
• Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to refine the go-to-market motion and feed insight back to product.
• Refine the foundational playbooks that grow the regional footprint.

First 90 Days

One way the first 90 could unfold.

• Days 1-30 - Immerse & Diagnose: Learn the product and region, and start closing strategic accounts yourself.
• Days 30-60 - Ship & Validate: Close early deals and begin building the team.
• Days 60-90 - Scale & Systemize: Grow the AE team and refine the regional playbook.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of sales with a track record of exceeding quota, ideally selling creative/marketing tools, MarTech, or media.
• 3+ years of recent sales management, hiring and leading sales professionals.
• Deeply networked in the region's advertising, brand, and agency ecosystem, with an active Rolodex of decision-makers.
• A player-coach who'll close deals today and scale a team, comfortable with ambiguity in early-stage growth.
• Based in the region, or willing to relocate.

Nice to Have

• Experience at a high-growth generative AI, media, AdTech, or creative-technology startup (Runway, Pika, Jasper).
• A deep passion for creative AI and a strong understanding of multimodal technology.
• Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles with creative directors and agency holdcos.
