Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with post-operative orthopedic conditions.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6, ensuring quality patient care.
• Monitor and administer medications, including pain management and antibiotics.
• Collaborate with tele techs to read and interpret monitor strips.
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Adhere to radius rules and facility-specific compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and driver's license required for verification.
• BLS certification required prior to assignment.
• Ability to pass a mandatory open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation.
• Flexibility and willingness to float to MedSurg, rehab, or PCU as needed.
• Strong team orientation and ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
• BSN not required but preferred; experience with EPIC charting system advantageous.
