Receiving Inspector - Incoming Quality

Receiving InspectorAs a Receiving Inspector, you will perform incoming visual and dimensional inspections on electrical components and materials to help ensure quality, accuracy, and traceability. You will review required documentation such as COCs, COAs, and FAIs, record inspection results in company systems, and support discrepancy resolution in partnership with Quality and Receiving teams. In addition to working in a facility awarded OSHAS's highest safety rating, you will be part of a diverse team of 400+ employees, solving the global challenge of sustainable flight, earning merit-based rewards, working in a climate-controlled environment, and having opportunities for continuous learning and development.Core Responsibilities:Perform incoming visual and dimensional inspections on electrical components and materials to identify damage, defects, or nonconformances.Verify quality documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (COC), Certificates of Analysis (COA), and First Article Inspection (FAI) packages.Accurately document inspection results in the Quality Management System according to established procedures.Maintain traceability by assigning serial numbers, scanning documents, and managing inspection records.Communicate inspection issues to Quality and Receiving leadership for timely resolution.Safely handle and move materials up to 20 pounds while following site safety and ESD requirements.Additional Responsibilities:Support discrepancy resolution activities, including RMA initiation and documentation, under Quality guidance.Use internal systems such as TIPQA, Oracle, and document management tools to support receiving and inspection activities.Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification activities as needed to support receiving accuracy.Work with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Fulfillment, and Receiving teams when material discrepancies arise.Complete required internal training, including J-STD certification within 30 days of employment.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Ability to read and understand technical instructions, drawings, and specifications.Experience in manufacturing, receiving, inspection, assembly, warehouse, or other detail-oriented operational work.Basic computer skills for documentation and system navigation.Willingness and ability to obtain J-STD certification within 30 days.This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.Ability to work with hazardous materials and in non-standard shift environments as required.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in incoming inspection, quality, electronics assembly, or receiving.Familiarity with COCs, COAs, FAIs, or similar quality documentation.Exposure to systems such as TIPQA, Oracle, Windchill, Webdocs, Proficy, or Smartsheet.Experience with cycle counts, traceability records, or inventory transactions.Soldering experience or electronics background.IPC-A-610 knowledge, Class 3 preferred.Professional Expectations:Consistent adherence to company policies, safety standards, and break schedules.Professional communication with suppliers, peers, and leadership.Reliability, organization, attention to detail, and openness to coaching and feedback.Join us and be part of a team that values safety, quality, and innovation.
