We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, enjoys collaborating with a supportive team, and is committed to ongoing professional growth. Responsibilities

As an LVMT , you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care and supporting our veterinarians and healthcare team by:

• Providing nursing care, patient assessments, and treatment administration

• Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory sample collection, and diagnostic testing

• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical and dental procedures

• Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography in accordance with state regulations

• Obtaining diagnostic imaging, including radiographs

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians

• Monitoring hospitalized patients and communicating patient status updates to veterinarians

• Educating clients on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and post-operative care

• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment documentation

• Assisting with emergency and urgent care cases as needed

• Ensuring proper care, maintenance, and sterilization of medical equipment

• Mentoring Veterinary Assistants and supporting the development of less experienced team members

• Helping maintain a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused hospital culture

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Veterinary Technician license (LVMT) in good standing

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program

• Strong technical, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care skills

• Previous clinical experience in a veterinary hospital preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment

• Compassion for animals and commitment to exceptional patient care

• Dependable attendance and strong professional work ethic

• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support coworkers

• Leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative
