IGH is seeking a qualified, trained and capable individual to serve as a Lead Employment Coach within the Florida National Guard?s Employment Support Program. The Employment Coach will provide employment support to Soldiers, Airmen, and their families, using broad-based knowledge, experience and skills in the areas of military personnel and human resource matters, especially as they relate to balancing civilian employment with military service in the Florida National Guard. The Employment Coach will represent the interest of the Florida National Guard, the Adjutant General?s office, Guardsmen, dependents and employers by matching employer hiring needs with the skills, knowledge and training invested in Florida National Guardsmen. The successful Employment Coach will consistently connect service members with military friendly employers.
Mission
The purpose of the Florida National Guard Employment Support Program is to provide employment opportunities and career options to members of the Florida National Guard and other Reserve Components. The objective of this requirement is to provide Employment Coaches throughout the state of Florida, and to provide technical support to managers, supervisors, members of the National Guard and other Reserve Components, and their dependents as to the benefits and entitlements available through the Employment Support Program and to ensure standardization and continuity of service.
