We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to support daily shipping and receiving operations in Louisville, Kentucky. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys accurate recordkeeping, coordinating warehouse paperwork, and helping maintain smooth material flow across the floor. The person in this role will work closely with shipping and receiving teams to confirm order accuracy, update inventory records, and support timely outbound and inbound activity.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing records, and package labels to support daily outbound activity.
• Assist with load preparation by confirming order completion and positioning materials for efficient truck loading.
• Compare inbound deliveries with purchase orders to verify quantities and identify discrepancies before items are placed into stock.
• Enter receiving and shipping information into inventory systems with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Answer routine internal questions related to order progress and direct carrier update requests to the appropriate lead or supervisor.
• Maintain orderly shipping, receiving, and storage areas to promote safe and efficient day-to-day operations.• Prior experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, or warehouse clerical support.
• Working knowledge of standard shipping documentation and inventory recordkeeping.
• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to verify shipments, match records, and follow established procedures consistently.
• Comfortable communicating with internal teams regarding order status and operational updates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and dependable.
• Commitment to maintaining secure, clean, and well-organized work areas.
