Role Overview As a Home & Community Behavior Technician, you will deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. Under BCBA supervision, you will support skill development, behavior reduction, and meaningful progress while adapting to different settings throughout your day. What You'll Do Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision Implement treatment plans in home, school, and community settings Use play‑based and individualized strategies to engage children Collect accurate session data and progress notes Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors Support skill generalization across environments Maintain safe, professional, and organized therapy sessions How Success Is Measured Consistent, compassionate engagement with children and families Reliability in attending sessions across assigned locations Accurate data collection and documentation Openness to feedback and ongoing learning Professionalism, flexibility, and communication Pay Range Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on education and experience) Additional Factors That May Increase Starting Pay Prior experience working in ABA or related behavioral health settings Higher levels of education or relevant coursework Fluency in additional languages that support the families we serve Advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., RBT certification) Schedule & Flexibility Full‑time, weekday schedule Services delivered across home, school, and community settings Caseload built within a defined local region Consistent schedules once cases are assigned No weekends required Training, Support & Growth Paid onboarding and hands‑on training Ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs Paid RBT certification (training, exam, and supervision included) Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities Clear pathways for growth and advancement Regular coaching and feedback to build clinical skills Qualifications & Essential Job Functions Minimum age of 18 High School diploma or GED required Ability to actively engage in child‑centered play and therapeutic activities Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including: Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, elopement, or self‑injurious behaviors Reliable transportation and the ability to travel consistently within assigned service region Valid driver's license and punctual attendance Comfort working across multiple settings (home, school, community) No prior ABA experience required – we train you Experience That Transfers Well Childcare or education (nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, paraprofessional) Special education, psychology, sociology, or related studies Mental health or human services roles Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience #J-18808-Ljbffr The Stepping Stones Group, LLC
