Registered Nurse CVOR

CVOR RN Travel Assignment

Seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable hospital in Portsmouth, NH. The ideal candidate will have specialized cardiovascular surgical experience and be capable of managing complex procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care in the CVOR unit, supporting cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
• Assist in and prepare for procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and EVAR.
• Collaborate with a team of OR staff, including scrub techs, anesthesiologists, and other RNs, to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain strict adherence to unit policies, including call requirements and documentation standards.
• Adapt to patient needs during trauma coverage and emergent procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold at least 2 years of recent Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic OR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR.
• Possess strong punctuality, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to scrub Cardiac and Vascular cases preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing.
