Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Details
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate : $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Location : Cincinnati, OH
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements/Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and accurate data entry abilities
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
About the Shipping & Receiving Clerk Role
As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
• Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Preparing outbound shipments by picking, packaging, labeling, and documenting materials
• Loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment and procedures
• Organizing inventory and storing materials in designated warehouse locations
• Coordinating shipping arrangements with carriers and delivery services
• Maintaining accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Assisting with order fulfillment and warehouse support activities
