Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Marietta, GA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm depending on travel and work location with rotating Saturdays working 8:00am-12:00pm Job Responsibilities: * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when necessary * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED or equivalent * Phlebotomy certification or completed training program * 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications: * 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards: * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation * Be at least 21 years' old. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
