Your Responsibilities Include

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently as per credentialing
• Educating patients and their families about wellness, prevention strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies following the scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care oversight
• Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic health records (EHR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Iowa
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
