Exciting Primary Care Position

Location: Shreveport, LA

We are currently seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician at our facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Nestled along the Red River in the northwest region of the state, Shreveport is part of the 'Ark-La-Tex' area, where Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas converge. This vibrant locale offers a delightful mix of Cajun culture and a touch of Texas charm, being just a short drive from the Texas border. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, collaborative, and dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of our Veterans. Our organization is committed to delivering exceptional medical care while honoring those who have served our country.

Key Features of This Role:

Attractive Starting Salary: $215,000 - $230,000
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend on-call duties.
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical interventions for both scheduled and walk-in patients in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient care objectives, embracing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model.
Identify normal versus abnormal findings to formulate diagnoses and respond appropriately to urgent health issues.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary, and recommend treatments or referrals.
Initiate referrals and consultations to other clinical departments as needed.
Must be a U.S. Citizen; non-citizen applicants may be considered if no suitable U.S. Citizen is available.
Possess a full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state.
Preferred: Board Certification in Family Practice.
