About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Level 1 Trauma and Neuro setting preferred. License: WA state RN license required. Certifications: BLS required, CNOR preferred. Must-Have: - Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center. - Circulate skills in the operating room. - Flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This position requires the ability to handle a diverse array of surgical cases. The unit is focused heavily on orthopedic, spine, and neuro procedures. Experience with procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, anterior lumbar interbody fusion, and orthopedic surgeries is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with a variety of surgical instruments and equipment, including Da Vinci robotics. Nurses are encouraged to scrub in for surgeries when needed. Weekend and holiday availability is expected. The unit serves as a Level 1 trauma center, accommodating both adult and pediatric patients. Patience and strong communication skills are vital in this fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work within a team-oriented framework. This role involves caring for patients with a variety of surgical needs and requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
