Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Pekin, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 01:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun02:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity, reporting suspicious or unusual conditions to site management and/or appropriate authorities. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
