Commercial Licensed Electrical Service Technician – diagnose, repair, and install commercial electrical systems. Requires extensive experience in the electrical field, in‑depth knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to work independently and with a team while maintaining a professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities Electrical Systems knowledge: Technical expertise in commercial electrical systems, including wiring, transformers, and control circuits. Code Compliance & Safety: Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA regulations. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Ability to identify and repair electrical failures efficiently. Trade Knowledge: Install, repair, and maintain electrical panels, lighting, motors, and control systems. Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in the commercial electrical service industry. Class II electrical license required. Strong technical skills in commercial electrical control wiring, lighting systems, motors, and transformers. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Proficiency in repairing, installing, and maintaining control circuits and motors, including three‑phase 480 V, 240 V, and single‑phase 120 V systems. Blueprints & schematics reading: Ability to interpret electrical diagrams accurately. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs.), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Experience working in a grocery store environment.
