Desert Elite Electric & Construction, Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Certified Operator to join our growing team in Indio, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic construction environment where quality craftsmanship and safety are top priorities. If you're certified, driven, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on assigned equipment
- Execute construction and electrical project tasks as directed by site supervisors
- Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment usage, hours, and site activities
- Coordinate with crew members to ensure efficient and safe job site operations
- Adhere to all OSHA, state, and local safety guidelines on active job sites
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or site hazards promptly
- Valid operator certification required for the applicable equipment or trade
- Proven experience in construction, electrical, or heavy equipment operations
- Strong knowledge of job site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or site plans
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments
