Barracks Personnel

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Barracks Personnel in Stennis, Mississippi. This position is contingent upon contract award. Roles and Responsibilities Assist with the overall management and daily operations of the barracks facility to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly living environment for all residents. Manage all resident check-in and check-out procedures, including room assignments, issuing linens, and briefing residents on facility rules and amenities. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date berthing matrix and personnel tracking system for all residents. Serve as the primary point of contact for resident customer service, addressing and resolving lodging issues, maintenance requests, and other concerns in a timely manner. Operate and maintain the barracks key security program, to include programming, issuing, and retrieving key cards, and troubleshooting electronic door lock systems. Coordinate with facility maintenance personnel (e.g., NAVFAC, SSC) to report and track all maintenance and repair trouble calls to ensure timely completion. Conduct frequent inspections of barracks rooms, common areas, and grounds to ensure compliance with safety, and cleanliness standards. Assist with ordering, receiving, and maintaining an adequate inventory of all logistical, cleaning, and office supplies required for barracks operations. Provide support for official command functions, graduation events, and student arrivals, which may require work during evenings and weekends. Assist in creating, maintaining, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the barracks. Required Qualifications and Experience Active Secret security clearance Valid driver’s license and obtain/maintain any required certifications Strong work ethic with excellent English communication skills (Spanish required for some roles) Ability to work independently with high attention to detail Ability to meet the physical demands of the position which may include walking, standing, bending and moving materials throughout the workday in a fast-paced environment Ability to work non-standard schedules (nights/weekends as needed) Ability to write professional correspondence Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications Ability to comply with all cybersecurity and IT policies Ability to maintain professional conduct and follow all applicable regulations Ability to work non-standard schedules Minimum three years of experience in general office, facilities, or lodging administration, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience managing, tracking, and ordering logistical and office supplies for a facility Demonstrated ability to administer facility key security systems, including programming and maintaining electronic key card access Proven capability to coordinate facility maintenance and repairs with internal departments and external service providers Experience maintaining personnel tracking and berthing assignment records Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to support residents and resolve lodging-related concerns Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license Knowledge of safety, occupational health, and facility inspection procedures preferred Company Overview RMGS, Inc. is a growing small business headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
