Physician / Rheumatology / Arizona / Locum tenens / Physician - Rheumatologist Job

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Rheumatology for a 100-day assignment in Arizona, commencing May 26, 2026. This role involves all aspects of outpatient rheumatology, with typical shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with various rheumatic conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage all aspects of outpatient rheumatology.
• Diagnose and treat conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Crest Syndrome, Sjogrens Syndrome, Reynauds Syndrome, and Lupus.
• Address cases including Bursitis, Gout, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, DeQuervains Tenosynovitis, Giant Cell Arteritis, Wegeners, and Lyme Disease.
• Provide care for Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Pagets Disease of Bone, Inflammatory Arthritis, Reactive Arthritis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Scleroderma, and Tendonitis.
• Treat Spondylarthritis, Vasculitis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Antiphospholipid Syndrome, Hypermobility, and Inflammatory Myopathy.
• Perform joint aspirations, joint injections, and/or intramuscular injections in the clinic as needed.
