And since we're local, you'll be home every night.What you'll do:Drop off and pick up equipment for customersOperate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") consistent with DOT classification CDL-AAdhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsMaintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspectionsSuggest additional equipment and supplies customers may needOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving recordHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving ExperienceSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbsBasic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving proceduresDiligent attention to safetyNote: This position is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
