Sales & Marketing Coordinator Location: Carlsbad, California, United States Industry: Construction & Property Services Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $22–$28 per hour Experience: 2 years About the Role A growing construction and property services organisation is seeking a highly organised, professional and outgoing Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support business development, client relationship management, networking initiatives and executive-level administration. Working closely with senior leadership, this role will help identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with clients and industry partners, coordinate meetings and events, and support marketing and business development activities that contribute to continued growth. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Manage communications with prospective and existing clients. Track sales leads, opportunities and client interactions using CRM and other business systems. Research and identify new business development opportunities. Coordinate follow-up activities and maintain strong client relationships. Support marketing, networking and business development initiatives. Assist with strategies designed to increase brand awareness and generate new opportunities. Communication & Executive Support Draft, review and coordinate professional correspondence on behalf of senior leadership. Manage incoming enquiries and ensure timely responses. Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors and industry partners. Provide executive-level administrative support as required. Meetings & Calendar Management Manage senior leadership calendars, including appointments, meetings and networking events. Coordinate meetings with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders. Prepare agendas, presentations and meeting materials. Attend meetings when required and document minutes and follow-up actions. Track outstanding actions to ensure timely completion. Research & Reporting Research potential projects, market opportunities and industry initiatives. Identify business development opportunities within construction, reconstruction, compliance and related markets. Compile research and prepare reports, summaries and presentations for leadership. Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and strategic partnerships. Networking & Events Represent the organisation at networking events, industry associations and professional organisations. Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, referral partners and prospective clients. Assist with planning and coordinating conferences, seminars, client events and company functions. Manage event logistics and support successful execution. Confidentiality & Administration Handle confidential business and client information with discretion. Maintain compliance with company policies relating to confidentiality and data privacy. Provide additional administrative and operational support to senior leadership as required. Requirements 2 years of experience in sales support, marketing, business development, executive administration or a related field. Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems and business communication tools. Professional and confident presence when interacting with clients, partners and industry contacts. Strong initiative and the ability to work independently. Preferred Experience Background in construction, property management, restoration, engineering or a related industry. Experience coordinating events, client meetings and executive calendars. Familiarity with project research, proposals and business development processes.
