Auxiliary OperatorAs an Auxiliary Operator, you will work in collaboration with our facility control room to operate and inspect various power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure the operational effectiveness of Reworld's industrial disposal process. Position Responsibilities:Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures, systems include, but are not exclusively limited to boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, and heavy industrial equipmentMonitor and inspect various boiler plant auxiliary equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators and electrical devicesRead and interpret data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends and/or potential equipment disruptions that impact facility operationsMonitor air pollution control equipmentPerform various types of material sampling, chemistry testing, and treatment of water, as requiredSafely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment, such as: cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forkliftsResponsible to maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel in operations equipment, and ensure appropriate refuse mix in designated pits and areas of operationsAdditional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operationsPosition Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 2-3 years' experience operating a boiler, heavy industrial equipment some maintenanceExperience with chemistry testing a plusMust have the ability to work a rotating shift scheduleShift:Rotating 12 hours days/nights and additional overtime as needed/during outages. 5 on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off. 5 am to 5 pm and 5 pm to 5 amPhysical Demands of the Role:Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climbAbility to lift/carry 50lbsAbility to work from heights and in confined spacesQualify to wear a full-face respiratorConsistently work in various weather conditionsWhat Reworld Offers You:Health Care Benefits - start first day of employment.Wellness Program Incentives & Rewards401k - match up to 7%Paid Time Off (Vacation & Holiday)Paid Parental LeaveShort-Term & Long-Term Disability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral BonusAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.Pay TransparencyReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
