Quality Assurance EvaluatorUnder immediate supervision of FSQAT Manager, this individual will monitor the operation of each dining facility to ensure compliance with all sub-contracting requirements.General ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update facility Food Safety Plan and associated programs to ensure compliance with Airforce Food Service and contracting requirements.Performs inspections of dining facility to ensure sanitation standards are met in accordance with 2005 Food Code.Conduct pre-operational inspection and daily Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.Identify nonconforming product, equipment, and materials and determine dispositions.Support pest control operations and document pest sightingsMaintain deviation program, following up on issues and corrective actions, if necessary, based on deviations found in programs.Maintain corrective action tracker database to ensure continuous improvement activities cited from internal and external audits are acted upon and remain on track.Develop a constructive work environment through open communication and team building skills.Other duties which may be assigned from time to time.Qualifications & RequirementsWillingness to be open to learning and growingMaturity of judgment and behaviorMaintains high standards for work areas and appearanceAttends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity in light of Allen Tharp attendance policy and operating hoursAbility to work a flexible scheduleMust comply with any dress code requirementsMust have computer knowledge- able to type and enter data dailyCurrent Serv-Safe certification a mustA Valid State Driver License and reliable transportation with proof of insurance and current vehicle registration requiredPhysical RequirementsSignificant walking or other means of mobilityAbility to work in a standing position for extended periods of timeAbility to reach, bend, stoop, push and lift up to 50 poundsClose vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lensesExperience/KnowledgeHigh school Diploma or EquivalentOne (1) year experience in the food service industryPrevious experience in a technical rolePreferred QualificationsBilingual in English and SpanishBenefits InformationThis is a full-time position, benefits and compensation to be discussed at time of interview.
