We are hiring an assembler to install insulation, assemble metal panels, install hardware and help complete enclosures.
Responsibilities
Match inner and outer panels to the correct job and assembly instructions.
Measure, cut and fit mineral wool insulation to the required dimensions.
Drill, rivet and fasten panels; install doors, louvers, seals and other hardware.
Assist with enclosure assembly, test fitting and packaging.
Check fit, dimensions and fasteners; protect powder-coated surfaces and report damage or missing parts.
Keep parts identified and the work area organized; follow required tool, PPE and material-handling procedures.
Qualifications
Read a tape measure, work with fractions and follow instructions accurately.
Use hand and power tools, including drills, drivers and riveting tools.
Maintain dependable attendance and careful, consistent workmanship.
Experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, sheet metal, insulation or construction is helpful. Ability to follow shop drawings is preferred.
Work environment
Work includes standing, bending, reaching and handling insulation and metal components. Large panels are moved with team assistance and appropriate handling equipment. Essential duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Employees are eligible for health insurance after a 30-day probationary period.
