Overview A leading engineering firm is seeking a licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and plumbing system projects across commercial, institutional, and government sectors. This role combines technical design with project leadership, client engagement, and team mentoring. Highlights Manage mechanical design from concept to construction. Oversee budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination. Lead proposals and support business development efforts. Mentor junior engineers and foster team growth. Responsibilities Lead the mechanical design process for HVAC and plumbing systems from concept through construction. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Engage with clients, respond to inquiries, and present design approaches and solutions. Contribute to proposal development and support business development activities where appropriate. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; PE license required. 10+ years of relevant experience. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software. Strong communication and project management skills.
