Depot Manager Managers Salary Management 8 days ago Requisition ID: 3832 Salary: $75,000.00 Annually DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Operations LOCATION: Nitro, WV Depot DATE WRITTEN: August 2026 PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. JOB SUMMARY: Oversee day-to-day operations of the Nitro, WV depot, including staffing and scheduling for route drivers, KY shuttle drivers, and linen distribution technicians. Ensure on-time dispatch, on-time delivery-window performance, and accurate next-day cart builds. Serve as the primary point of coordination between the depot and the Shelbyville, KY plant on nightly shuttle logistics, and as the main point of contact for depot customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Build and maintain driver, technician, and shuttle schedules to meet route and build requirements Monitor on-time dispatch (5:00 AM local routes, 9:00 PM shuttle) and on-time delivery-window performance Coordinate nightly cart-building volumes against shuttle arrival times and next-day route needs Track driver hours to stay within DOT and company weekly-hour targets; manage overtime Manage depot facility needs: utilities, equipment, permits/licensing, and vendor relationships Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service issues and delivery-window concerns Ensure all depot staff follow DOT and company safety rules and policies Track key performance indicators (on-time %, cart counts, overtime hours) and report to Regional Operations Manager Coordinate with the Shelbyville, KY plant on shuttle scheduling, linen quality, and volume needs Hire, train, and supervise depot staff; conduct performance reviews ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Step in to cover a route, build, or shuttle shift in the event of a staffing gap Support other depot locations or projects as business needs require MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years of supervisory or logistics/transportation experience preferred Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills Comfortable working early-morning and variable hours to oversee dispatch Valid driver's license in good standing Familiarity with linen distribution, laundry, or route delivery operations a plus Proficient with basic office/scheduling software Ability to speak, read, and write the English language #J-18808-Ljbffr
