We are excited to open a new location in Dalton GA and are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. Training and onboarding will take place at 6120 Alabama Hwy Ringgold GA 30736 to provide a smooth transition and ensure you are fully prepared to serve patients at the new site. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team and help make a positive impact on our patients' health and wellbeing. Position Overview: As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and healthcare providers in delivering efficient and high-quality patient care. You will handle both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations within the office and the best experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care : Greet and prepare patients for examinations, take vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and assist with procedures. Clinical Support : Prepare exam rooms, assist physicians during exams or treatments, and ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments. Administrative Duties : Manage patient appointments, maintain patient records, and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR). Lab Work : Perform routine lab tests (urinalysis, blood draws, etc.) and ensure proper handling and packaging for testing. Patient Education : Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and health-related information. Billing & Coding : Assist with basic billing and coding for insurance claims and process patient payments. Team Collaboration : Work closely with medical staff to ensure the overall smooth operation of the office. Qualifications: Certification : CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred. Experience : Previous medical assisting experience is preferred but not required. Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, and proficiency in using EHR systems. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for long periods, assist patients with mobility, and lift up to [X lbs]. CPR/First Aid Certification : Preferred but not required.
