Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Helpline Counseling Center, you will be responsible for the following:

- Delivering therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on addressing relational and mental health issues. \n
- Conducting thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' backgrounds, strengths, and challenges, which informs the creation of personalized treatment plans. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including systemic interventions based on family systems theory, to improve communication and resolve interpersonal conflicts. \n
- Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during critical situations, ensuring client safety and appropriate follow-up care. \n
- Documenting client progress, treatment plans, and notes with accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Educating clients on effective coping strategies, effective communication, and constructive conflict resolution, enhancing their relational skills. \n
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals such as psychiatrists and social workers to ensure holistic and consistent care for clients. \n
- Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices and updates in the field of marriage and family therapy. \n
Our clientele encompasses a wide range of ages, including both adults and children/adolescents. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse families facing unique challenges such as communication issues, relationship transitions, parenting struggles, and mental health disorders. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the recovery journeys of these individuals and families, equipping them with tools and techniques to navigate their circumstances.
Qualifications\nThe successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania. \n
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. \n
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the mental health field, particularly in outpatient therapy settings. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices. \n
- The ability to work autonomously while also collaborating seamlessly as part of a clinical team. \n
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the varying needs of clients. \n

- Experience in providing therapy in telehealth formats and familiarity with digital mental health tools. \n
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse populations and address issues related to cultural competency. \n
- Prior experience in crisis intervention and emergency response as part of therapeutic practices. \n
Helpline Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to this attractive salary, we provide a comprehensive employee package that includes:
