Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and managing a caseload of patients in both outpatient and acute rehab settings. The role involves planning and implementing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician, regularly updating treatment and home exercise plans, and ensuring compliance with insurance authorization processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients.
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs.
• Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
• Manage a full caseload independently.
• Conduct re-evaluations based on insurance authorizations.
• Work as necessary on Hawaii State and Federal Holidays based on hospital operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in outpatient and acute settings, working with adult patients.
• Must possess a valid Hawaii Physical Therapist license by the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross is required.
