Maintenance Technician

Custodial Maintenance Position

Custodial tasks and maintenance of agency properties.

Duties

Responsible for preventative maintenance to ensure the quality of buildings and grounds.

Maintenance of all property facility equipment and machinery according to safety and sanitation requirements including scheduling of vehicle maintenance and repairs, if applicable.

Responsible for all ordering and inventory of custodial equipment and maintenance supplies in most efficient and cost-effective manner. Responsible for upkeep of grounds including common areas and reporting quarterly or as needed.

An individual may qualify for the position if the individual is able to "perform safely" the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to two (2) years of commercial, institutional, or industrial custodial experience, including experience directing the work of others.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Availability to work evening and weekend hours
• Physical exam
• T.B. test
• Fingerprint clearance
• First aid and CPR certification
