Job Title: IT Deployment Technician Overview

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (flexible) - 40 Hours weekly

On-site 5 days a week - Indianapolis, IN 46219

We are hiring an IT Deployment Technician/Specialist to support large-scale hardware deployment for a local university hospital system, local to Indianapolis, IN 46219 . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and is comfortable working independently while delivering strong customer service to clinical and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support various hospital and clinic locations within the university health system
• Unbox, stage, configure, and deploy IT equipment across clinical and non-clinical settings
• Install hardware, including desktops, monitors, copiers, label printers, dashboards, and other devices
• Perform cable management and ensure clean, organized, and safe workstation setups
• Provide on-site support during deployment and go-live activities
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues during installation and rollout
• Ensure all equipment is properly configured and fully functional in a healthcare environment
• Support post-go-live testing and assist hospital staff with basic technical needs

Required Qualifications:

• 1–2+ years of IT deployment, desktop support, or hardware installation experience
• Hands-on experience with imaging, configuration, and device setup
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to support clinical and non-technical staff
• Excellent customer service skills in a professional environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital or university healthcare setting
• CompTIA A+ or other relevant IT certifications
