About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at The Music Box in Lafayette, LA . We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON!
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $20-$26/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. We focus on the core musical instruments, specifically piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, bass, and elevate the learning experience with our exciting live concerts and recording sessions. To us, music is magic and the experience of learning to sing or play an instrument should be dazzling.
