Automotive Billing Clerk Job Description The Huffines Billing Clerk accurately records the sale, profit, and commissions payable on all sold units. Automotive Billing Clerk Job Responsibilities Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, verify VIN, etc.) Verify compliance documents Bill all new and used car deals and post them into accounting software Process pay‑off checks for trade‑ins and mail them to appropriate financial institutions in a timely manner Prepare trade jacket to include proper title and titling documents Generate and maintain the sales person’s commission reports and list of commission’s on‑hold Daily management of the DOC.
