Position Summary Adjunct Instructor, Nurse Aide: Job Hire Immediately (four positions open). Instruct Nurse Aide students in the art of bedside nursing through engaging classroom curriculum, skills lab, and clinical settings/scenarios. Duties Instruct Nurse Aide students in didactic, skills lab, and clinical settings/scenarios. Ensure all training and skill activities adhere to North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation guidelines. Use expertise to pass the torch of nursing to the next generation of health care providers. Minimum Requirements BSN, ADN, Diploma RN or higher nursing degree. Two years of minimum direct patient care as RN. Active, current, unencumbered North Carolina Registered Nurse license. Willingness to obtain current American Heart Association Instructor Certification in Adult CPR. Position is contingent on DHHS faculty approval for Nurse Aide programs in North Carolina. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in a long‑term care facility or in providing care for the chronically ill. Familiarity with local health care facilities. Experience teaching adult learners. Compensation $35.65 per contact hour.
