Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel SLP and use your skills where they’re needed most. You’ll help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while exploring a new part of the country.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 1+ year recent experience required
• Must be licensed in PA as a Speech Therapist
• ASHA certificate of clinical competency required
• BLS required
• Must have independent with MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Studies)

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Location Highlights

Wilkes-Barre offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional city amenities. The city sits along the Susquehanna River and is about 10 miles from Seven Tubs Nature Area, known for its rock formations and hiking trails. Mohegan Pennsylvania is located in nearby Plains, and downtown Wilkes-Barre offers restaurants, live entertainment, and access to the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts. For weekend travel, Hickory Run State Park is about 40 miles south and Scranton is roughly a 30-minute drive north, giving travelers additional options for parks, museums, and shopping.
