You will act as the main focal point for the Operating Unit for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met.What You'll Get to Do:Lead a team of Supply Chain Planning Specialists who are responsible for coordinating cross-functionally to ensure that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.Accountable for supply chain program execution including resource planning, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolutionOwn budget, forecasting, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements for all materialEffectively manage a supply base on cost, schedule, quality, and performanceDevelop and maintain Strategic Supplier relationshipsPresent briefings to the PMO and leadership on program status and any necessary action plans to address issues affecting program supply chain cost and schedule performanceBasic Qualifications: ​Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR a Master’s Degree with at least 6 years of experience in supply chain management, project management.Minimum of 3 years experience leading a team of people or direct management of peopleExperience with EVMS, financial reporting, forecasting, and product schedulingExperience working high level strategic initiatives that impact long-term business goals in addition to urgent requirements to support day-to-day operationsUS CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain Secret government clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with a broad range of supply chain issues, including supplier management, risk management, large and complex proposals, negotiations, terms and conditions, contract types (fixed price and cost type), and post award managementExperience developing and growing teams and shaping a performing cultureProject Management experience with a clear understanding of establishing and maintaining schedulesExperience with Supply Chain metrics, and driving performance to targetsControl Account Manager (CAM) experience and certificationHigh Proficiency working with MRP/ERP systemsExperience with Federal and Defense contracting requirements, including FAR/DFAR and ITARWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
