Salary Range: $56,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior machinists, providing training and technical guidance.
• Program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery and conventional tools.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform precision machining operations to produce high-quality parts and components.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, optimizing processes for efficiency.
• Maintain and perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in precision machining, including hands-on operation of CNC and manual machines.
• Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for programming multi-axis machines.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of machinists.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with process optimization and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming and simulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to mentor and train junior machinists.
