About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive for Behavioral Health to provide systemwide leadership in the development and implementation of behavioral health strategies and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and performance of the behavioral health division, with a focus on creating a more integrated, accessible, and coordinated continuum of care. This role involves working closely with various leaders to strengthen clinical and administrative operations, improve access and care coordination, and develop services that meet the behavioral health needs of the community. An immediate priority is to enhance the pediatric inpatient program, and the Chief Executive will be expected to lead this initiative with a strong emphasis on clinical quality, patient safety, and workforce stability. Applicants for the Chief Executive position must have a Master’s degree in a relevant healthcare or behavioral health discipline, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced clinical degree. A minimum of 8 years' senior management experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in behavioral health, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading a complex healthcare organization, developing and executing behavioral health strategies, and improving clinical and operational performance. Strong financial acumen, experience in change management, and the ability to effectively partner with a range of stakeholders are essential. Experience in pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services and a background in a rural or statewide health system are also preferred.
