About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Campus Operations to provide day-to-day leadership and administration of the campus's facilities, auxiliary services, and capital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that these services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with institutional priorities. This role involves overseeing contracted service providers, managing departmental budgets, and coordinating capital planning and project execution. The Assistant Vice President will also be a key member of the Emergency Management Team, with on-call availability to respond to campus operational incidents. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge of facilities operations, capital planning, and outsourced service management, with a strong background in financial management, including budgeting and cost analysis. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, monitor vendor performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in facilities management or a similar setting. Experience in higher education or a complex institutional environment is strongly preferred, as is a proven track record in staff supervision, vendor management, and operational improvements. The position demands a high level of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across a diverse campus community.
