Payroll Administrator

Volt is hiring for a Payroll Administrator position with a leading cosmetics company. As a Payroll Administrator, you will: Support the accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll Perform daily analysis and maintenance of time and attendance records Work with department managers and employees to ensure time punches are recorded accurately Assist with payroll calculations, processing, and transmission Prepare manual payroll checks as requested Reconcile payroll tax schedules and help resolve discrepancies with the company's outside payroll tax preparer Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for Accounting Work with government agencies regarding garnishment deductions and reconciliations Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation Work closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and departments throughout the company Assist with additional payroll projects and responsibilities as needed This is a part-time opportunity flexible Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of payroll or related experience College degree in Accounting or Business preferred Experience with biweekly payroll processing Experience maintaining time and attendance records Knowledge of payroll tax reconciliations and reporting Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience working with garnishment deductions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet tight payroll processing deadlines Strong organizational and communication skills Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits health dental vision term life short term disability AD&D 401(k) Sick time other types of paid leaves (as required by law) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
