Primary Job Title Operational Support Specialist Location Springfield, MA Contract Details Position Type: Contract Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour (USD) Job Summary Under direct supervision, performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. This includes clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, scanning documents, distributing outgoing mail and coordinating with print services. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other department's functions. Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems. May do some data-entry to retrieve and route documents to appropriate business area. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support, data entry and various clerical duties Conduct research utilizing internal data and outside research sources Accommodate the storage of records and documents Perform photocopying, compiling records, filing, and tabulating Post information and scan documents Distribute outgoing mail and coordinate with print services Maintain records and prepare forms Verify information and resolve routine problems Perform data-entry to retrieve and route documents to appropriate business area Required Skills Data entry experience Digital dexterity (ability to use a computer keyboard and toggle between various screens) Basic PC skills Ability to perform repetition work requiring visual accuracy Required Experience Minimum 1 year of data entry experience Typically, at least 2 years of related experience Work Environment / Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 35 pounds Standing for a prolonged period of time Ability to sit, reach, grasp, lift, carry, bend, push and pull Warehouse conditions Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund About GTT GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
