We seek out innovation across our entire business and pass that knowledge and expertise to our customers.As a Maintenance Mechanic 3, you will be responsible to provide technical support for manufacturing equipment (Softgel or Unit Dose), Facilities and the Preventative Maintenance Program. The individual will possess additional skills, expertise and qualifications over a Mechanic 2. The individual should have advanced proficiency and expertise with multiple equipment and/or systems.How will you contribute:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to:Responsible to keep the facility, production equipment and all support equipment in safe and operational working condition according to OEM and OSHA guidelines.Respond to all floor calls in a timely manner and complete tasks quickly and thoroughly.Maintain up-time / downtime targets and develop plans to improve.Trouble-shooting problems and recommending solutions or improvements necessary to restore line operations. Seeks permanent solutions to identified root causes.Complete assigned work orders (Preventative/Corrective Maintenance) in a timely basis and support prioritization of tasks for other mechanics.Complete the Preventative Maintenance Program (PM) including relevant documentation. Design PM’s and schedules work in coordination with the supervisor.Maintain equipment maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with SOP and cGMP guidelines;Identify and complete process improvement initiatives including engineering and construction projects.Work with auditors, vendors, and suppliers as needed.Maintain inventory of spare parts and critical equipment. Audit systems as necessary along with sourcing options.Researches and obtains quotes for equipment, parts, and services as needed.Lead the training of other employees.Responsible to comply with all Company policies and procedures, including safety programs.Perform set-ups or changeovers of equipment as necessary for production schedule;Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics as required.May coordinate equipment alterations (i.e part fabrication) and equipment installation.Any other assigned tasks or duties may require overtime and weekend work as necessary.Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate; andVocational or trade school with certifications or apprenticeship training preferred;Experience in an FDA-regulated industry is preferredMinimum of four (4) years of related maintenance and mechanical experience; orAny combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.Experience in Gummy manufacturing equipmentWork Environment:May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.Why work for Sirio Nutrition (California) LLC:The Company pays 100% of the premium for employee-only medical coverage.Dental, Vision, Life Insurance401(k)10 paid HolidaysPaid time offMore about us:As a valued strategic partner, Sirio Nutrition (California) LLC offers a comprehensive program of services, turnkey solutions, and client support that is unmatched in the industry.
