Associate Veterinarian

The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys working in a busy general practice environment and values teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Perform physical examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in dogs and cats Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry procedures Interpret radiographs, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, nutrition, and wellness plans Maintain accurate and complete medical records Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff Manage hospitalized and urgent care patients appropriately Follow hospital medical protocols and standards of care Participate in maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture We look forward to hearing from you! Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree Active Florida veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to high-quality medicine and patient care Surgical and dental experience preferred Experience with Avimark or similar veterinary software is a plus New graduates welcome to apply; mentorship available for the right candidate #J-18808-Ljbffr
