Business Systems Analyst - Finance - Corporate App Tech Support

This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. The employee will work full‑time remotely outside of a WesBanco location and may occasionally attend in‑person meetings, although the primary functions of the role are performed remotely. The Business Analyst Officer bridges the gap between the changing needs of our external and internal customers and the ever‑advancing technological solutions that support those needs. Each officer will oversee assigned business areas and application(s) to ensure we fully leverage technology to efficiently and effectively meet user needs. This position will directly support the finance team in providing technology solutions that support their ongoing strategic goals. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors. Collaborate with business area to collect, analyze and evaluate information related to business systems. Document business requirements, functional requirements and design specifications. Coordinate with the application analyst counterpart to document technical requirements. Analyze and manage new and existing system utilization by the end user. Assist in developing training materials to ensure proper usage and highest optimization of the applications. Serve as an expert in business system solutions in alignment with assigned business area. Serve as a liaison between the assigned business area and third‑party vendors and IT resources. Make system recommendations and other solution suggestions to meet customer needs and/or improve processes. Monitor system deliverables to ensure business needs are met successfully and within agreed‑upon timeframes. Assist in troubleshooting problems within the business application solution set and engage IT and third‑party vendors as needed. Foster strong relationships with supporting vendors, IT teams and the supported business area. Open and track support tickets and feature requests. Take responsibility for the work effort within assigned applications during acquisitions. Test new functionality and document test plans in correlation with the business area. Manage the lifecycle of support applications including roadmaps, releases, upgrades and defect tracking. Maintain a strong understanding of risks and controls of the business area and applications supported. Collaborate with project management on new initiatives within the assigned area of responsibility. Collaborate with other business analysts to understand interdependencies between areas of responsibility and manage changes to ensure all aspects are covered. Possess clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to effectively express thoughts, ideas and concepts to management, bank employees and bank customers in a collaborative and solutions‑oriented manner. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines under difficult time restraints. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Team player with a positive outlook. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Ability to learn other banking systems. Ability to effectively use technological resources for meetings, coaching and training. Additional Information Wage range: $100,000 – $110,000 annually. 22 days of PTO, 5 days of STD, 11 annual paid holidays and 1 float holiday. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in technology or another related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum three years’ experience in banking, technology or another related field required. Preferred Experience Strong knowledge of customer and user system experiences preferred. Knowledge of system components and user experience highly desired. Minimum of five years of experience with financial systems preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft required.
