Work Environment This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements while maintaining a high standard of care. Our digital platform facilitates seamless communication and therapy sessions, ensuring our therapists can effectively connect with clients across the Carlsbad, California area and beyond. Our outpatient office model supports a healthy work-life balance, with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, employing a range of therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy. Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of each client's unique challenges and circumstances. Conduct regular sessions with individuals, couples, and families, providing counseling and therapy while continuously adjusting treatment strategies to meet changing needs. Perform ongoing assessments to monitor client progress, adapt treatment goals, and offer support in achieving desired mental health outcomes. Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment of open dialogue and healing. Refer clients to additional specialists or resources when necessary, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their care. Patient Population / Client Focus As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with a diverse clientele encompassing individuals, couples, and families grappling with various mental health issues. Our approach is particularly focused on supporting clients dealing with relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will be crucial in guiding clients to better understand their emotions and interactions within their relational dynamics. Qualifications A valid LMFT license in California is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential. Demonstrated experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is strongly preferred. Understanding and application of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is a plus. Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with the proficiency to effectively motivate and inspire clients towards healthier lifestyles. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a clinical setting providing effective therapy to clients with a range of psychological concerns. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy sessions. Experience in creating and implementing treatment plans that result in better client outcomes. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
