MRI TechnologistAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists to support operations at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional evening and weekend coverage as needed. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI imaging procedures in a clinical hospital setting following established imaging protocolsPrepare, position, and monitor patients during MRI exams, ensuring comfort and safetyOperate MRI equipment, including calibration, setup, and image acquisitionReview image quality and communicate with radiologists as needed for diagnostic accuracyAdhere to all MRI safety protocols, including screening for implants and metal exposureDocument all procedures and patient care activities in the VA electronic health record (CPRS)Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, VA privacy, and information security requirementsParticipate in quality assurance (QA/QI) activities and patient safety reportingCollaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and imaging staffAttend required VA orientation, training, and ongoing educationMaintain accurate time and attendance records and sign in/out dailyQualificationsMinimum 1 year of MRI experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic TechnologistDemonstrated technical proficiency in MRI imagingARRT certification in MRI – R.T.(MR)(ARRT), active and unrestrictedAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is requiredMust have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 monthsNo sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
