Custodian PositionWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Responsibilities:Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the facility.Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas regularly to ensure a hygienic environment.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.Assist in setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events and meetings.Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use.Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed or assigned by management.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
