Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location

Atlanta, GA | Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring as they transition from acute or critical care settings
• Manage post-surgical and medically complex patients, including those in transplant-related care
• Administer treatments and medications in accordance with established care plans
• Continuously evaluate and document patient conditions, responding to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Demonstrated experience in a PCU, intermediate care, or stepdown setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and effective teamwork

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in transplant or post-surgical nursing care
• Familiarity with managing medically complex patient populations
• Experience working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
