Start or grow your notary business in Dalton, Georgia. Certified Mobile Notary Service is looking for new and experienced notary signing agents to complete mortgage loan signings for borrowers throughout Whitfield County. This is a U.S. only opportunity.

About the Role: As a notary signing agent in Dalton, you will meet borrowers at their home, office, or a public location, or connect with them remotely, to notarize mortgage loan documents. Assignments include refinances, purchases, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, and seller packages. You will make sure every document is signed, dated, and notarized correctly so the loan can close on time.

Key Duties: Conduct mobile and remote notarization of mortgage loan documents for clients in Dalton and surrounding areas. Verify the identity of signers and administer oaths or affirmations as required. Walk borrowers through their loan package and make sure every signature, date, and initial is completed. Accurately complete notarial certificates and keep a complete notary journal and log. Return signed loan packages to the lender, title, or escrow company by the required deadline. Ensure compliance with Georgia and federal notary laws and regulations. Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive borrower documents. Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with borrowers and clients.

Key Profile: Must be a U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent. Active Notary Public commission in your state of residence. Proficient with remote notarization platforms and technology. Knowledge of mortgage documents and loan signing terminology. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Familiarity with state and federal notary laws and regulations.

Job Requirements: High speed internet connection, a reliable computer with a camera and microphone, a printer, a mobile phone, reliable transportation, and a home office set up.

Payment: $75 - $200 per loan signing appointment.

Schedule and Location: Flexible contract work. Remote and mobile assignments in Dalton, Georgia and the surrounding area, U.S. only.
