This is a full-time, on-site position based in Temple, Texas. Candidates must be able to work in the office Monday through Friday during normal business hours. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements. Applicants seeking remote employment will not be considered. The Parts Associate is responsible for taking customer orders, placing orders with vendors, supporting the sales team, and providing backup to the warehouse. Provides support to both Parts Manager and Distributor Sales Team for current and new customers & vendors including, but not limited to, ordering parts, tracking orders, resolving order discrepancies, fielding customer calls, and assisting with company’s e-commerce website. Partners cross-functionally with Operations, Business Development and Accounting to support customer and vendor needs. Assists Parts Manager with monthly cycle counts and inventory control measures. Assists Warehouse Associate with packing and preparing orders for shipping, and to ensure inventory is in-stock. Minimum of 2 years’ general office and warehouse experience; proficient in MS Office – specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel; knowledge of QuickBooks or other ERP system is helpful; must possess the ability to learn new software/systems easily; must have good time management and prioritization skills, solid customer service skills; possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
